[Book Review] Learning Colors (Early Learning with Rosy Ladybug), [Author] Marcela Brué-Lotz

A lovely book which can be useful during the early learning period, helping children discover the wonderful universe of colors. Recommended for children between the ages of 3 and 5, the book introduces Rosy, an adorable ladybug who has a very important mission.

My thoughts:

My four-year old daughter loved Rosy, feeling all excited to join her colorful adventures. The bright and colorful illustrations added to the delight of the story, and I appreciated the interactive storyline. The book also includes questions and discussion points, which are useful in keeping little ones engaged.

The lovable character of Rosy will certainly be adored by all children. Even though my little one already knows her colors, she had fun following the ladybug and her adventures. Rosy is not sure what to get mommy for her birthday – my daughter had the time of her life reading this story!

Verdict:

We loved this book! Rosy Ladybug is a lovely character, and I believe this book would be a nice addition to any home library, or it could be used in preschools and kindergartens. Aside from helping young children learn basic colors, it can also introduce them to the different types of flowers. This is the first book in the Early Learning with Rosy Ladybug Series, so we can’t wait to read the next one already.
