[Book Review] Cut Her Out in Little Stars, [Author] Daniele Kasper

A great SF book, which kept me entertained until the very last page. I love books based on time travel, and the elements of romance only added to the delight of the story. The author writes flawlessly and I enjoyed her world-building.

My thoughts:

What do I want from a good time travel story? Well, I am sure you will all agree. I would hate for such a story to be predictable or boring. Thankfully, the author has managed to offer an exciting SF adventure, one that is far from foreseeable. I found her characters to be relatable, especially whereas the romance part was concerned.

Cara and Cain have an interesting relationship, and I loved how the author described the sparks between them. Their romance did not overshadow the main plot, and there was enough suspense to make me want to know what would happen next. I believe the story also offers a wonderful message: life changes and we have to embrace the next chapter.

Strong points of the book included:

· Wonderful world building – exactly what you would want in a time travel story

· Well-written characters, each with their own journey

· Love story between Cara, the time traveler, and Cain, the space captain – it was perfectly embedded into the adventure

· It was not predictable or boring, it kept me turning one page after the other

· The writing flowed naturally, it was never forced or lacking in creativity

Verdict:

A book which checks all the boxes for a great read. From the actual time travel story to the elements of romance, adventure, and suspense, I found it to be exciting! The world building was excellent and the characters well-written. It offered just enough romance, and I was eager to see not only what would happen between the two main characters, but also with the overall story. A sequel would be great!
